Description
A story I was working on... kind of a cross between Sheena of the Jungle and the novel Heart of Darkness. The characters, from left to right, are:
Miss Penelope Pennywhistle -- a nervous Edwardian-era socialite who comes along with her adventurous father on this expedition through the vast interior of Sub-Saharan Africa
Vikela -- a mysterious [and obviously not too modest] naturalist and mercenary hired by the boat's captain as a security detail
Vrou de Gevaarlike -- world-renowned exploiter... err, I mean 'explorer'... hoping this voyage will finally lead to riches beyond her wildest dreams
A shout of thanks goes out to DA's own Kate-FoX and her tutorials in regards to Vikela's looks.
